Pistol Step 2 Events - 3 Dates in May 2023

Advancement in any discipline requires a solid foundation to build from. Pistol “Step 2” is perfect for those new to pistols, wanting to methodically develop the skills necessary to safely and efficiently utilize a handgun.
While Sportsman’s Resource is best known for its private, one-on-one custom tailored training programs, “Step 2” is a small group program geared towards providing participants with a cost effective yet comprehensive review of key fundamental and the practical application of those fundamentals. Training outdoors on a beautiful private range allows for a dynamic yet enjoyable learning experience. These 3-hour sessions will each focus on specific skills necessary to establish and ultimately advance your comfort and proficiency with a pistol.
Step 2 – will focus on recoil management, strong hand / support had only shooting, reloading (emergency/tactical), target transition (engaging multiple targets), engaging from non-typical shooting positions and proper holster draw/presentation
Where: Aurora Sportsmen’s Club, Waterman Illinois (75min West of O’Hare)
When:
Sunday May 7th , 1pm till 4pm
Wednesday May 24th , 1pm till 4pm
Saturday May 27th , 1pm till 4pm
Cost: $100/participant
What to bring:
Semi-automatic pistol
2 Magazines (minimum)
Retention Holster (IWB/OWB), preferably Kydex, form fitted to your specific pistol
Magazine Pouch
Sturdy Belt
Hearing and eye protection
200 rounds ammunition (more is always better)
Sturdy / Comfortable “Closed Toe” Shoes
Rain Jacket – event will proceed rain or shine
